Andrew Carroll is a Los Angeles-based composer, songwriter, and producer. He’s best known for his critically-acclaimed score and theme song for AMC’s Lodge 49, Peacock’s The Resort, and the animated hit Shape Island on Apple+.

He scored the award winning independent features Cassidy Red, a sprawling western revenge tale, and The Grand Son, a chilling, psychological thriller. His music for the short film In Colors was nominated for “Best Original Score” in the Westfield International Film Festival, and he scored episodes of the Day-Time Emmy Award-winning show Travelscope, as well as the theme song for CMT’s series Death Valley.

He studied writing and classical guitar at Loyola Marymount University, and began his musical career as a songwriter and performer. His band The Lonely Wild released two albums and an EP while touring across the U.S. alongside acts such as: Beck, The National, and Lord Huron. His first solo EP, You Are Here, was released in 2020. Aquarium Drunkard called it, “a cinematic set of psychedelic pop songs—think Pet Sounds re-envisioned as a soundtrack to a lost noir gem.” The combination of formal training, and the improvisational approach of experimental rock and roll, give his scores a unique, genre-bending sound.
